Why women LOVE her yoga classes
I am passionate about supporting women through times of transition and creating safe spaces where women feel comfortable and nurtured. My sessions emphasize proper alignment, which helps prevent and alleviate discomfort. I also use a variety of yoga techniques to prepare and empower women through different stages of their pregnancies.
The mind-body connection has amazing power, and my classes aim to help women listen to and understand their bodies more clearly. Nurturing that connection helps to manifest the natural wisdom inherent in all women, and strengthen the essential bond between mother and baby.
What you can expect from her classes
I firmly believe that yoga is accessible to all bodies. I teach a practice that acknowledges where the body is now, while also honoring where it has been. My classes share both restorative and strengthening practices, so that women are supported however they need to be during pregnancy, recovery and postpartum.
Kindness and a gentle sense of humor go hand in hand with this. I encourage students to use their bodies, breath and minds to focus and ground themselves in the present moment, and learn to listen to their needs with compassion and love.
What inspires her as a yoga teacher
My mother inspires me with her wisdom, love and kindness. She taught me from a young age how to care for others, how to create a supportive environment for those who need it most, and how to use my voice for those who do not have one.
Helping our society change for the better also inspires me immensely. My work empowers me to prioritize respect and kindness, and support women through the uniquely challenging journey of pregnancy and new motherhood. Every day, I wake up gratified and inspired to be part of the change our society so dearly needs.
