I see possibilities, and love within all. My intentions are always to create a safe space and allow women to give themselves permission to be, let go, and reconnect with their whole being. My classes are accessible and women feel comfortable and supported through class. Women love that they leave class feeling energized with a calmer spirit.
What you can expect from her classes
You can expect from my class to be uplifting. I create classes that will make you feel light, but powerful. The breath being such a big component of a healthy pelvic floor, you can expect a strong focus on moving with your breath. My class always have elements of strength, flexibility and meditation. You can expect my words to be clear and my tone of voice encouraging and reassuring. I love to play with creative transitions and bring a little playfulness in my classes. After all, it’s just yoga! I feel that every classes are an opportunity to work on body awareness, your open-mindedness and self-esteem. I come from a place of compassion and respect, and it shows in my classes by leaving time to explore your practice and find your edge, as well as space to connect mind, body and spirit.
What inspires her as a pregnancy wellness practitioner
I am inspired by the bodies and their stories. I love to connect with my students and help them through their yoga practice, to access a state of lightness and selflove so they can transfer that in their personal life. As my personal life changed, going from an athlete to a yoga teacher and simultaneously becoming a mother, it affected my practice and my teaching style. Practicing with a changing body or a recovering body is humbling and require a certain level of vulnerability. Working with moms is inspiring by itself, and I feel very lucky to be able to help expectant moms and new moms connect with their babies and their bodies.
